A tribute to their unwavering devotion, twenty-two committed individuals came together to register the Association, motivated by the dearth of early intervention services.
In order to guarantee excellent services, the Association worked with specialists from the Netherlands to examine Oman's disability services and offer recommendations for the future.
The Ministry of Social Development officially declared the Association.Several female volunteers were trained in special education at the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services to enable them to provide appropriate services to children.The Association officially began providing services to children with disabilities in a rented villa.
We continued to grow in 2002 by adding physical therapy services to our portfolio and hiring specialists in several fields, proving our dedication to the field.
s. The Association trained 30 female volunteers in the Portage program to ensure that services reach children in their homes.
In order to construct a headquarters for the Association that is committed to offering cutting-edge services and caring for children with disabilities, the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said kindly provided land and money.

The Association then trained 74 volunteers in the Nizwa University special education diploma program using funds from corporations.
The new headquarters of the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability was proudly inaugurated on 6 May 2024 under the auspicious reign of His Majesty Sayyid Haitham bin Taimur Al Said. The ceremony hold under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Her Excellency Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development.

We would like to thank His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said, for the Vision 2040, in which the objective has been reinforced by having well-being and social protection as a primary national priority. The strategic direction to have a decent and sustainable life for all, including people and children with disabilities.
Much gratitude to the Late Sultan Qaboos bin Said for granting association the land and three hundred thousand to support the construction of the building; he believed in our mission in helping children with disability to receive the rehabilitation needed.
